Brief: design an elevated, keepsake format for full retellings of disney’s best-loved and classic stories while maintaining integrity and recognisability of the brand. The response from retailers was overwhelmingly positive and Target requested exclusivity to the range. The demand grew, and as such the collection encompasses over 20 titles and is referred to as an ‘iconic’ series.

Shortlisted in the ABDA 69th Book Design Awards 2021 for Best Designed Illustrated Children’s Book.
I work predominantly with watercolours, however I enjoy playing with mixed media/digital illustration every now and then. Flora and fauna are my go-to for subjects, but I also adore fashion illustration, most likely sparked by my interest in vintage clothing!

Coco: Big City Kitty
Written by Laura Bunting
Illustrated by Nicky Johnston
Series design by Nicolette Treanor
Brief: design a series look that appeals to young girls’ infatutation with whimsical little objects and all things lovely (and pink!) The cover is embossed with a linen texture to appeal to tactile little hands and Coco’s favourite things come alive with spot gloss.
This series look is a rebrand from the initial limited edition design of ‘Coco Big City Kitty’ which was shortlisted in the ABDA 69th Book Design Awards for Best Designed Children’s Fiction Book (co-designed by Nicole Stofberg).

Brief: to use design in a way which perfectly communicates Anton Pig’s perfectly imperfect efforts to create a perfect surprise party for his best friend. Katrin’s whimsical illustrations deserved an endearing yet contemporary cover design which I believe I achieved through the use of filigree spot gloss details and the bold neon/charcoal grey colour palette.
endota spa Organics™ Nurture
In 2018, Endota Spa launched their Mother & Baby range.
Endota chose to feature my watercolour illustration of a waratah as a distinguishing feature on the packaging of this range.
It is available to view and purchase in stores now.

Designed for Scholastic Press, an imprint of Scholastic Australia.
Brief: to expand on Aaron Blabey’s prolific ‘Pig the Pug’ series by creating original line art of illustrations from existing titles. I was required to develop a series look and title treatment that simultaneously complemented and differentiated from the iconic ‘Pig’ brand. I created a pattern which I have applied to all covers and internals and used my experience in licensed design to create engaging activity pages.
The Activity Book and Sticker Reward Book are available in stores now.

Book 1: Lola Online: The Secret Upstairs Fan Club Party, 2021
Book 2: Lola Out Loud: The Recipe for Disaster, 2021
Brief: to design a series for reluctant, 7+ age readers that is fun, bright, relatable and current. The design channels the popular culture trends of tweens in its colour palette of watermelon and Pantone aqua. It is paired with a seventies-inspired font and is coated in a transparent holographic foil. It shouts contemporary and cool, appealing to the young audience through a stylised female protagonist on the front which I illustrated in Photoshop. The internals have spacey margins, little doodles and line illustrations scattered throughout.

I developed my skills in textile design during my Advanced Diploma of Graphic Design and Illustration at EDI in 2016.
Subsequently to my graduation show, I was approached by a florist in the Blue Mountains who desired to use my Waratah textile to fit out the shop. Unfortunately the plans fell through, however I went on to create skirts and cushions which I sold through my Etsy shop at the time.
